We deliver inclusive, community-based rehabilitation services and advocate for systemic change across Kenya.

APDK is a charitable not-for-profit, Non-governmental Organization, a social enterprise that is committed to improving the quality of lives of persons with disability. APDK advocates for an inclusive society, provision of rehabilitative services, provision of appropriate wheelchairs and assistive technology, economical empowerment, and advocating for the rights of persons with disability in accordance to UNCRPD.

Our Work

Events

A 24-hour event to raise money for those living with disability.10% of the Kenyan population lives with a disability, and yet support is limited at best, nonexistent at worst.

The Nairobi Standard Chartered Marathon is a unique annual sporting event conducted on the last Sunday of October every year in Nairobi, Kenya

Every year, APDK joins the International community to commemorate the International Wheelchair Day marked on March 1st, to offer a special opportunity for world citizens to reflect on prevailing physical disability concerns.
